Re: do you?
Fri, May 18, 2007 - 12:46 PMOr perhaps you do want to find out, but before attaining a satisfactory answer you seek you must first find a more appropriate way to phrase your inquiry which reflects what information you desire.
For example, Does anybody have any birthmarks with unique shapes or on a certain area of your body that you would like to share with the group and feel free to describe what you feel your marking means to you? -

Re: do you?
Mon, May 21, 2007 - 5:35 PMyour correct i do want to know and my post was worded poorly, thank you.
when i was a kid i grew up in an old convent, my family being very religious and all, we had numerous books for reference. one of which was a book on saints with correlating pictures of woodcuts, the one in particular i liked was one with a monk that was ressurecting 3 dead toddlers that had been drowned in a gin tub to find their killer. every toddler though had a birthmark, a circle, almost directly on top of their head.
i have one so i figured it meant something. mine is the size of a quarter(american) it's an exact circle, it grows no hair and is a different texture than my skull. much like semi -hard chewing gum. i can feel my skull right under that layer though.
when i was a baby my older siblings drew smiley faces on it in church and i remember my mother constantly applying sunscreen to it.
my older sister used to tell me i was a reincarnation of a 6th century pope marcellinus which also happens to be my middle name.
my mother since then lent out all her saint books, i never found it again, i searched, but still nothing. i found circle symbolism and went from there, alchemy, what goes around comes around, using the circle in witchcraft, friends, barbers, doctors pretty much ran the gammit. now, i don't even really think about it being there, it's just another part of the whole of the mystery.
but i am still curious.
so, really that felt pretty good. would you or anyone else care to share? -

Re: do you?
Fri, May 25, 2007 - 4:16 PMThank you for sharing, I have a birthmark on my side and lots of angel kisses 'freckles'.
Your story is quite interesting and as a Sun I feel that a lot of us will have some 'religious' background, because that is what Sun is, simply that I AM presence of the cosmic mind, we share a close connection to Source which to us is simply the Sun, the Sun in turn is connected to Source. Which is a part of why we are here, we each embody the same cosmic consciousness, only in separate physical incarnations with individualized thoughts, memories, direction, interested, ect...to give us the illusion of our separation from source, which is why the human experience at this time is a unique gift, a chance to experience ourselves without the overwhelming thoughts of every other person, or aspect simultaneously. Imagine a lifetime of thoughts, memories, emotions, from everyone under the Sun flooding through your essence, it'd be way to overwhelming and our very essence of our being would shut down. Though as a Sun and sharing this aspect we have the opportunity to shine the light of the divine through our very presence which I feel is why some, or even all of us feel, for feel to have had a strong connection to religious backgrounds.
It's our duty to simply shine. Just be unconditional love.
